Expedia, the world’s largest online travel agency, has signed a deal to become the Official Sponsor of Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMO). The deal will see the Expedia brand appear on the shirts of match officials at the Barclays Premier League, the npower Football League, The FA Cup with Budweiser, the Capital One Cup and other domestic, professional matches. The world’s largest online travel company, Expedia.co.in today announced their tie-up with Thomas Cook Visa & Passport Services, a business division of Thomas Cook (India) Ltd (TCIL), the largest integrated travel and travel related financial services company in India, to providea range of visa assistance services to its customers. Expedia India has waived the visa processing charge for its customers booking international flights and packages.

Expedia.co.in®, the world’s largest online travel agency, today released the results of the 2012 Flip Flop Report, an analysis of behavior and preferences among beachgoers in Asia, North America, South America, Europe and Australia. The survey highlights the shift towards experiential travel amongst Indians. The online study was conducted by Harris Interactive, on behalf of Expedia, from February 14 to March 21, 2012, among more than 8,000 adults in 21 countries. Read more
